Subject:PCP provider

OK, I am now sick of Dartmouth-Hitchcock's bureaucratic nonsense, their disorganized computer system, and their employees' attitude. Does anyone have a recommendation for a Primary Care Physician in the Manchester-Concord area that doesn't treat you like a number? I had wanted to go to the Center for Integrative Medicine, but they don't provide PCP services.

Mood: frustrated

Is there anyplace in or near Manchester that I can buy a menorah and some dreidels?

I've looked at Target and practically every store at the mall and there is nothing anywhere. And it's not that they sold out; they never had it to begin with! I don't even know where else to try.

Does anybody know of any free or cheap/sliding scale clinics in the Nashua area? I've had... things growing on my leg for almost a week now. I thought it was poison ivy at first, and since I don't have insurance, I figured calamine lotion would take care of it. But here we are, a little over a week later and it's only getting worse and I'm ready to admit defeat... but would rather not kill my bank account, meager as it is.

Subject:Two (2) Vans Warped Tour Tickets for Sale

So... I have Vans Warped Tour tickets that I can't use.

Two general admission tickets for next Tuesday, July 21st, at 1PM at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. I'm asking slightly less than face value, so $50 for the pair (LiveNation's selling them for $26.25 each) plus however much shipping is if I have to mail them to get them to you in time.

Price negotiable. Make an offer.

...of someplace in or near Manchester that sells goat cheeses?

Other than the A Market, that is, which does carry some, but unreliably. I'm allergic to regular (cow) cheeses and would like a reliable source for cheese that I can eat.

I haven't lived in SoNH for about 5 years now, and my mother's finally forcing me to clean out my childhood bedroom as I'm making a more permanent move abroad. I'm just now discovering that I have an over abundance of really nice, and in great condition (some never used - pathetic) clothes, shoes, and books. Are there any stores in the SoNH area where I can sell back these items? Obviously, I'm not expecting to be able to sell the clothes and books to the same place.

If there isn't, I'll be donating everything to Goodwill or the likes. Just thought I'd see if I could make some much needed cash before doing that.

Subject:Looking for a few Sources

I'm in North Londonderry, and I'm looking for sources for a few things. I'm interested in acquiring a large supply of food-grade five-gallon buckets for a project I'm working on. I'd prefer free (who wouldn't?), but I am prepared to reimburse someone's efforts if they work at a Dunkin' Donuts or someplace that gets these buckets and then discards them. I'd even do the cleaning out bit, but I'd definitely need the lids.

Also, I'm looking for a source of 55-gallon drums for the same project. They need to be food-grade. I'll do the cleaning, if necessary, but I'd be willing to compensate for someone's time and effort.

Please let me know if you know of any possible leads. I'm willing to travel throughout the greater Manchester area.

Thanks in advance!

Subject:Recommendations for jewelers

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for jewelers in the Manchester area that have a reasonable assortment of engagement rings? I want to be able to recommend a place for my boyfriend where he won't necessarily get ripped off, or talked into way too much ring than what I'm looking for. Yes, I plan on looking, too, but I have no idea where to go. A co-worker suggested Barmakian in Nashua, but looking at their website it just seemed like everything was very pricey and high end, and I don't necessarily want to spend $3000 on a ring. Thanks!

I'm looking for a primary care doctor in or around Derry. I need to get in to see one in less than a week. Does anyone have a doctor they really like that they'd reccommend?

Subject:Nail salon recommendations

OK, I'm looking for a new nail salon. I live in Manchester, and I work in Nashua off of exit 5W. I had a lovely place I had gone to before, but since it was just one lady it was always hard to get in there unless I wanted to go at 6am on Saturday and I love sleeping in more than I love my nails.

I tried searching Yelp, but there weren't many reviews for Nail Salons in either area, so I come to LJ for help.

  1. Where do you get your nails done and who is your technician?

  2. Do you have acrylics, wraps, gels, etc.?

  3. Do they do their filing by hand or with an electric drill?

  4. Do you know if they do pink and whites? If so can they do back fills?

  5. Flame me if you will, but do they speak English? I've had enough nail girls where there has been a language barrier, and I'm not interested in having that experience again.

If you don't presently get your nails done but have a place I should check out, please let me know. And of course if there are places to stay away from I'm all ears. Thanks in advance!
